  • the Zonovy mobile applications for iOS and Android,

  • user-generated content and social features,

3. Eligibility and Age Restrictions

Zonovy is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old.

We do not knowingly allow children under 18 to create accounts or use the Services. We collect your date of birth at sign-up to confirm that you meet this age requirement.

If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will disable the account and delete the associated personal data, except where we are required to retain limited information to comply with our legal obligations.

A. Information You Provide Directly

We may collect information you provide when creating or using your account, including:

  • display name and username,
  • email address,
  • date of birth,
  • profile photo or avatar,
  • bio/about information,
  • support communications,
  • uploaded videos and content,
  • comments, likes, follows, bookmarks, and interactions,
  • direct messages and related metadata,
  • reports or moderation-related submissions.

Some information is required to create and maintain your account.

B. User-Generated Content

Zonovy is a social video and short-series platform. Content you upload or submit may include:

  • videos,
  • captions,

  • profile information,
  • messages,
  • engagement activity.

Content shared publicly on Zonovy may be visible to other users depending on platform functionality.

We may review content for:

  • safety,
  • spam prevention,
  • moderation,
  • abuse prevention,

  • enforcement of our policies.

Moderation may involve automated systems and human review.

C. Device, Usage, and Technical Information

The technical information we automatically collect depends on how you access the Services. We describe each context separately below.

Mobile application. When you use the Zonovy mobile app, we may automatically collect:

  • IP address,
  • device identifiers,
  • device fingerprint information,
  • operating system and app version,
  • device model,
  • push notification token (such as Firebase Cloud Messaging token),
  • log data,
  • crash reports,
  • diagnostics and performance information,
  • watch history,
  • search history,
  • interaction timestamps and usage activity.

Creator portal. When you sign in to our web-based creator portal, we collect the information needed to authenticate you and secure your session, including:

  • IP address and browser user-agent,
  • a device fingerprint derived from your browser and a browser-stored device identifier, used to bind your session to your device and detect unauthorized session reuse,
  • a secure, encrypted session cookie that is strictly necessary to keep you logged in.

Marketing website. Our public website (including this page) does not use advertising, analytics, or device fingerprinting, and does not set tracking cookies. As with any website, our hosting and content-delivery providers automatically generate standard server access logs — such as IP address, user-agent, requested pages, and timestamps — which are used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.

We use the information described above for:

  • service functionality,
  • security,
  • fraud prevention,
  • debugging,
  • recommendations and personalization (in the app),
  • platform performance and reliability.

D. Location Information

Zonovy may collect:

  • approximate location information derived from IP address, and
  • optional precise location data from your device if you grant permission.

Precise location access is optional and is used for features such as:

  • content tagging,
  • localized context,
  • recommendations.

You can continue using the Services without enabling precise location permissions.

Zonovy does not collect background location data for tracking purposes.

E. Camera, Microphone, and Media Permissions

With your permission, Zonovy may access:

  • your camera for recording content,
  • your microphone for audio capture,
  • your media library for selecting or uploading content.

These permissions are optional but may be required for certain features.

F. Cookies and Local Storage

Our public marketing website does not set cookies or use browser storage for advertising, analytics, or tracking.

When you sign in to our web-based creator portal, we use the following strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to authenticate you and keep your session secure:

  • a secure, encrypted session cookie that keeps you logged in;
  • a browser-stored device identifier and a derived device fingerprint, used to bind your session to your device and detect unauthorized session reuse; and
  • authentication state stored in your browser by our login provider (Firebase Authentication) so you remain signed in.

These are essential to providing the portal and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can clear this storage through your browser settings, though doing so will sign you out.

5. How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

  • provide and operate the Services,
  • create and manage accounts,
  • authenticate users,
  • display and distribute user content,
  • support messaging and social interactions,
  • personalize feeds and recommendations,
  • improve platform performance and user experience,
  • detect spam, abuse, fraud, or policy violations,
  • investigate reports and moderation actions,
  • maintain platform safety and integrity,

6. Personalized Recommendations

Zonovy uses automated systems to personalize content recommendations, feeds, rankings, and discovery experiences.

These systems may consider:

  • watch history,
  • search activity,
  • engagement behavior,
  • follows and interactions,
  • device and session information,
  • approximate geographic context.

Zonovy does not use automated systems to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on users.

7. Push Notifications and Communications

We may send:

  • account or security alerts,
  • social activity notifications,
  • operational communications.

We currently do not send promotional or marketing communications.

You can manage push notification permissions through your device settings.

8. Third-Party Services and Processors

  • push notifications,
  • crash reporting,
  • caching and infrastructure support.

  • Cloudflare R2,
  • DigitalOcean,
  • Redis-based infrastructure services.

These providers may process information on our behalf subject to contractual and operational safeguards.

9. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information:

  • with service providers and infrastructure partners,
  • when required by law or legal process,
  • to protect rights, safety, or security,
  • during investigations involving fraud, abuse, or policy violations,
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset transfer.

We do not currently:

  • sell personal information,
  • share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising,
  • use third-party advertising SDKs or advertising identifiers for targeted advertising.

10. International Processing

Your information may be processed or stored in countries other than your own country depending on the location of our infrastructure providers and service partners.

By using the Services, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in different jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your own. Zonovy is operated by Intelives Pvt Ltd in India, so your information may be transferred to and processed in India and other countries.

11. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for operational, legal, security, and business purposes.

Residual copies may temporarily remain in secure backup systems before automatic deletion.

12. Account Deletion and User Controls

Users may request account deletion through the app.

Deletion is initiated immediately and generally completed within 30 days.

Users may also:

  • edit profile information,
  • delete uploaded content,
  • delete comments and messages,
  • manage device permissions through device settings.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including:

  • encryption in transit,
  • access controls,
  • infrastructure security measures,
  • authentication protections,
  • operational monitoring.

However, no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

14. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights under applicable California privacy laws, including the right to:

  • request access to certain personal information,
  • request deletion of certain personal information,
  • request correction of inaccurate information,
  • receive information about categories of data collected,
  • exercise privacy rights without discrimination.

Zonovy does not currently:

  • sell personal information,
  • share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
